United Tribes Technical College maintains an “open door” admissions policy and welcomes all applicants. The College believes that every person who has a sincere interest in learning should be given the opportunity to do so. However, the general policy does not insure admittance to a particular course of study. Some programs have limited enrollment and/or academic, medical and legal requirements. Applicants are usually 18 years old and have earned a high school diploma or GED. Admittance priority is given to those who are members of a recognized tribe.

Following are the Admissions Requirements for learners applying to study ONLINE only and do not intend to attend any classes on campus.

To be fully accepted for admissions to United Tribes Technical College for study online, the following items must be submitted for all prospective part-time and full-time students:

  • Completed UTTC Admissions Application.
  • Copy of Drivers License
  • Copy of Birth Certificate
  • Copy of Social Security Card.
  • Official High School Transcript or copy of GED Scores.
  • Copy of Certification of Indian Blood (CIB), if applicable.

Also recommended:

  • Financial Aid (FAFSA Pell Grant), Agency funding, or other funding. Those who do not fill out the FAFSA will not be eligible for any financial assistance through UTTC.
  • If you would like your previous college credits earned to be considered for transfer to UTTC, you must request from those Colleges attended where you received credit, that official transcripts be sent to United Tribes Technical College Admissions Department. Copies of documents sent by Fax machines, such as High School Transcripts, and College transcripts are not considered official. These documents must be mailed by the Registrar's Office of the College or the High School directly to UTTC.

Official documents are those sent by organizations directly to United Tribes Technical College. UTTC reserves the right to require official copies of other documents when deemed necessary.

IT IS THE STUDENT'S RESPONSIBILITY TO SEND COPIES TO FUNDING AGENCY.

In addition all students wishing to take online courses will be required to have a valid email address and access to a computer that meets, or exceeds, the technical requirements.
