System Requirements
To access the UTTC Online Education Courses you will need a computer running one of the web browsers listed below, these include minimum requirements and reccomended requirements. You may be able to access the site with less than the minimum requirements, however some content may display improperly or incompletely resulting in an inability to properly complete the course. If you have any questions you can contact the webmaster using the Contact Link at the top of the page.

 

Minimum Requirements

Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.0 for Windows or Mac OS
Netscape Navigator* 4.5 for Windows of Mac OS, or 4.7 for Linux

(other browsers such as Opera may work but have not been tested)

Internet access at 2400bps
(pages will load slow at speeds less than 14.4Kbps)

 

Reccomended Requirements
Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 for Windows or 5.1 for Mac OS

Netscape Navigator* 6.1 for Windows, Mac OS, or Linux

Internet Access at 56Kbps

*Netscape Navigator will work however the site was designed for optimal viewing using Microsoft Internet Explorer.

It is also recommended that your monitor be able to display 16 million colors at 800x600 screen resolution for optimal viewing.

 

Other Requirements

You will also need an email account during the course. You can get free email from Hotmail or Yahoo.

Remember: If you change your email address during the course you need to contact the Online Education Office so that your new email can be entered in the course database for administrative and security purposes.

Links to free program downloads that will be helpful in completing the online courses offered by United Tribes, as well as helping in accessing many other internet sites.
